Lisa L. Gintner, MA, MBA

Senior Consultant

Lisa Gintner manages and leads organizational change engagements for prominent academic medical centers and healthcare systems. She draws upon her experience in physician–hospital relationships, strategic planning, quality and safety, and system development to guide organizations through productive, sustainable change.

As a consultant, Ms. Gintner has assisted hospitals and systems in strategic planning, restructuring their governance, and designing plans for medical staff integration.

Prior to joining The Bard Group, Ms. Gintner was at Partners HealthCare, Inc., the health system formed by Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals. There, she designed and led high-profile, system-wide initiatives for financially-sustainable quality management, improving patient care, increasing physician effectiveness, and reducing resource utilization. In designing and managing clinical and technology operations at both the hospital and system level and facilitating the participation and buy-in of executives, physicians, and professional teams, her work combined financial expertise with strong motivational skills. Ms. Gintner has also worked as a clinical behavioral psychologist in both the Veterans Affairs and Massachusetts public school systems.

Ms. Gintner’s clients include Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, William Beaumont Hospitals, Lancaster General Health System, Rochester General Hospital, and Lifespan Health Systems.
